In the mid-1800's, in the Austro-Hungarian Empire, Leopold and Rebecca Frieder started a family.  They would never have been  able to imagine that in the next 160 years they would have descendants stretching from mainland Europe to Israel, England, and to  a vast number of states in the United States and that though this family was separated by unimaginable hardship, persecution, wars,  years and miles, that many of them would discover each other and their common heritage.  Though Leopold and Rebecca were of  Jewish descent, their tree is now made of many ethnicities, nationalities and faiths.  This website is dedicated to accepting each faith  and each ethnicity.   This website is also dedicated to finding other branches of the family.

Please send a note to the administrator if you know of additional family members, if you can fill in where I have "Unknown", or if you  know any dates that need to be included or corrected.  It is my goal to have as many birth, marriage and death dates on this tree as  possible.  We have many blanks to fill in.    Thank you for any help you can give.
